Bring kindness to residents through meal service, food preparation, and dietary support as a Dietary Aide in a care setting.

Reporting to the Food Service Manager or Supervisor, the Dietary Aide prepares resident meals as directed by the cook. This position supports resident safety, special dietary requirements, and high-quality care. The work includes food handling, modified textures, meal plating, and respectful service.

Key Responsibilities:

- Deliver meals pleasantly and courteously to residents
- Assist cooks with food preparation and plating
- Follow prescribed diets and modified textures
- Clean tables, dishware, serveries, fridges, and freezers
- Support First In First Out processes and cleaning procedures

Requirements:

- Complete or enroll in an approved Food Service Worker program
- Hold Food Handler Certification from Public Health or certified agency
- Understand food handling, storage, orders, and diet spreadsheets
- Lift up to 25 pounds and perform assigned duties
- Provide screening, health results, and two supervisory references

Use dietary service experience, communication, and teamwork skills to create positive meal experiences while supporting resident safety.
