Support older adults through engaging programs at Chartwell as a casual Activity Aide, using creativity, compassion, and energy to enrich daily experiences.

As an Activity Aide, you will help create meaningful resident experiences that support wellness across all dimensions. You will assist with program planning, encourage participation, and help maintain a vibrant community. The position also uses communication, organization, and Microsoft Word and Excel skills.

Key Responsibilities:

- Help plan programs supporting all dimensions of wellness
- Encourage residents’ participation in daily activities and events
- Monitor and record participation and engagement levels
- Support protected, welcoming, and inclusive activity spaces
- Prepare calendars, posters, and newsletters for programs

Requirements:

- Previous customer service experience
- Experience working with seniors is a strong asset
- Post-secondary education in recreation, gerontology, or social work
- Strong communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills
- Flexible hours, physical ability, emergency readiness, and required checks
