Provide skilled nursing care as a Registered Nurse with Island Health, using the nursing process across rotating day and night shifts. Work is regular part time.

Reporting to the Rural Health Manager, this Registered Nurse coordinates and administers direct patient care within a multidisciplinary team. The position provides direction to staff and volunteers, responds to emergencies, and follows BC nursing standards. Patient and staff safety remains central.

Key Responsibilities:

- Coordinate and administer direct patient care
- Apply the nursing process to assigned patients
- Provide direction to staff and volunteers
- Respond appropriately during emergency situations
- Support continuous quality and safety improvement

Requirements:

- Registration as a practicing RN with BC College of Nurses and Midwives
- Two years recent related medical, surgical, and emergency experience
- Basic Life Support, Level C certification
- Valid BC Driver's License
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
