Operate heavy equipment on transmission and distribution projects throughout Ontario with Forbes Bros. Group of Companies. Travel, rotation, and site-based construction work define this assignment.

This full time, temporary Equipment Operator position supports construction activities under a Foreman or Lead Hand. You will operate assigned equipment, follow site plans, and complete required inspections. The work includes loaders, dozers, telehandlers, graders, excavators, Lodrils, and vibratory hammers on major infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate assigned heavy equipment safely and efficiently
- Follow site plans, manuals, regulations, policies, and procedures
- Complete daily pre-use and post-use equipment checks




- Coordinate equipment activities with the construction crew
- Clean, grease, maintain, and document equipment requirements

Requirements:

- Equipment operator training or appropriate certification
- Three to five years operating heavy equipment
- Ability to read site plans and follow instructions
- Understanding of inspections and preventative maintenance
- Ontario Class G or Class AZ licence is an asset
