Support apprentices and employers as an Apprenticeship Specialist with Merit Ontario in Mississauga, working in a hybrid environment.

This full time position provides guidance from registration through certification while managing a strategic Group Sponsor Program portfolio. You will build relationships with industry partners, connect apprentices with resources, and collaborate with Skilled Trades Ontario, educational partners, and Merit Ontario. The work includes initiatives involving apprentice success, wrap-around supports, OYAP, events, employer engagement, assessments, and government reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

- Coach apprentices throughout their apprenticeship journeys
- Build relationships with employers and industry partners

- Lead initiatives across apprenticeship support and employer engagement
- Collaborate with Skilled Trades Ontario and educational partners

Requirements:

- Three to five years in a related field
- Passion for helping people succeed
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Ontario driver's licence and reliable transportation
