Prevent theft and fraud as an Asset Protection Specialist with The Home Depot, using surveillance, investigations, and robust communication skills.

This retail loss prevention position supports assigned stores by executing internal and external theft strategies. You will address organized retail crime, operational concerns, safety programs, and environmental compliance. The work requires integrity, sound judgment, and effective partnerships with store management, associates, law enforcement, APSS, and MAPM.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct surveillance and investigate internal and external theft concerns
- Use CCTV, exception reports, and EAS systems
- Detain and interview apprehended shoplifters under applicable procedures
- Write reports, preserve evidence,



and interact with law enforcement
- Validate store safety, environmental, and physical security compliance

Requirements:

- High School Diploma or GED
- One or more years retail loss prevention experience preferred
- Strong verbal, written, negotiation, and communication skills
- Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Office knowledge
- Valid security guard or private investigator license where applicable
