Fraser Health is hiring Casual Registered Nurses for Cardiac Services at Jim Pattison Outpatient Care & Surgery Centre. The role provides person-centered care in an outpatient clinic setting. You will assess patients, coordinate interventions, educate families, and collaborate with an interprofessional care team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assess outpatient patients using observation, communication, data review, and physical assessment
- Plan, provide, evaluate, and document nursing care
- Teach illness management, prevention, treatment, and self-management skills
- Coordinate care plans, referrals, discharge planning, and team communication




- Screen surgical patients and report diagnostic abnormalities to physicians

Requirements:

- Approved nursing program graduation and current BCCNM registration
- Two years’ recent cardiac prevention and rehabilitation experience
- Exercise training and ECG Telemetry monitoring experience
- Current BCLS, ACLS, and ECG rhythm interpretation certification
- Valid British Columbia driver’s license and physical ability
