Support residents through personal care and daily living assistance as a Health Care Aide at Elk Point Healthcare Centre. Work within a multidisciplinary Long Term Care team.

This casual Health Care Aide position serves clients requiring ongoing support in a 30-bed Long Term Care unit. Working under a regulated health skilled, you will follow care plans and facility policies. Your work includes hygiene, nutrition, mobility, recreation, safety, and communication support. You will collaborate with patients, families, caregivers, nurses, and health professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide personal assistance with activities of daily living
- Support patients' hygiene, nutrition, mobility, recreation, and safety needs
- Assist nurses with routine patient care




- Observe and report patients' mood, health, and wellbeing
- Maintain safe environments and support effective communication

Requirements:

- Active or eligible CLHA Health Care Aide registration
- Proof of education or Health Care Aide Certificate within eighteen months
- Current Basic Life Support certification
- Ability to meet standing, bending, walking, and lifting demands
- Medication Assistance Program completion preferred
