We are recruitingSnowcat Operators to support a winter construction projects in Northern Alberta. The scope of work includes building and maintaining frost roads, winter access routes, and utility areas and other site activities. The successful candidate will have previous Snowcat operating experience and be comfortable working in winter conditions and challenging terrain.

Responsibilities

- Operate Snowcats safely and efficiently to build, maintain, and groom frost roads and winter access routes.
- Prepare and maintain winter work areas and utility sites across the project.
- Keep routes safe and accessible for construction crews and equipment in changing terrain and conditions.
- Complete daily equipment inspections and report mechanical or maintenance issues.
- Coordinate with supervisors and other operators on site activities.
- Support general site duties and follow all safety procedures and policies.

Requirements

- Previous experience operating a Snowcat in construction, oilfield, winter access, or similar environments.
- Experience with frost road construction and winter access.
- Experience working in remote winter construction environments is an asset.
- Ability to safely operate equipment in changing terrain and winter conditions.
- Solid understanding of equipment safety and daily inspections.
- Strong commitment to safety and ability to follow site procedures and direction.
- Ability to work effectively as part of an established crew.
- Must be eligible to work in Canada.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test, including cannabis.
