Reporting to an Actuarial Manager, you will contribute to personal or commercial pricing, reserving, financial planning, and economic capital modelling projects. This four-month placement develops knowledge of actuarial operations and insurance, including underwriting, claims handling, product development, and policy liabilities. You will prepare data, interpret modelling results, and communicate concepts while supporting stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and analyze data for profitability analysis
- Apply spreadsheets, databases, and statistical software
- Interpret cutting-edge modelling and analytics results




- Produce exhibits monitoring company and industry performance
- Respond to stakeholder requests with senior staff support

Requirements:

- University enrollment in actuarial sciences, mathematics, statistics, or related discipline
- At least one Casualty Actuarial Society examination completed
- Programming knowledge including SAS, R, or SQL
- Efficient Microsoft applications use, including Excel and VBA
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organization skills
