Lead patient engagement frameworks and partner coordination at Sunnybrook, strengthening inclusive participation across hospital programs and initiatives. This role supports patients, families, staff, and researchers.

The Patient Engagement Specialist leads daily program operations and continuous improvement at Sunnybrook. You will develop policies, tools, and resources, while supporting Patient and Family Advisory Councils. One day weekly focuses on Sunnybrook Research Institute partnership, grant development, risk assessment, and education.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead patient engagement program operations and continuous improvement
- Maintain inclusive partner recruitment, onboarding, and orientation systems
- Coordinate patient and family partners with hospital initiative teams




- Deliver engagement training, communications, and capacity building
- Monitor success indicators and report program metrics

Requirements:

- Minimum three years of healthcare-related experience
- Prior patient engagement experience preferred
- Bachelor’s degree required; health-related master’s preferred
- Excellent written, oral, and group facilitation skills
- Compassion, discretion, and understanding of health equity principles
