Mississauga-Oakville Emergency & Specialty Hospital welcomes an RVT to its Emergency team. You will perform triage, monitor anesthesia and recovery, place catheters, collect samples, run laboratory tests, and take diagnostic radiographs. The position also supports surgery, procedures, pharmacy, and in-hospital treatments.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform physical assessments and support emergency triage
- Monitor induction, maintenance, and post-operative recovery
- Place catheters and collect diagnostic samples
- Run in-house laboratory tests and diagnostic radiographs




- Prepare suites and assist emergency procedures

Requirements:

- Veterinary Technician or Animal Health Technician diploma
- Eligibility for applicable provincial registration
- Knowledge of patient care, anesthesia, pharmacology, and procedures
- Confident venipuncture, catheter placement, and laboratory skills
- Protected animal handling and restraint techniques
