Use QuickBooks and full-cycle bookkeeping expertise as a Senior Accounting Technician supporting an established company’s accounting operations.

This experienced Accounting Technician role requires solid general accounting knowledge and proficiency with several accounting software programs. You will manage core bookkeeping activities, prepare reconciliations and support financial reporting. The position also contributes to process improvement, government remittances and year-end audit preparation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform full bookkeeping for accounts payable and receivable
- Complete bank and monthly account reconciliations
- Prepare journal entries and financial statements
- Monitor GST/QST and DAS government remittances
- Support year-end files and accounting process improvements

Requirements:

- Minimum 10 years of accounting experience
- DEC or AEC in Accounting, or equivalent experience
- Excellent proficiency with QuickBooks
- Good knowledge of Acomba and NetSuite
- Rigorous, autonomous, organized; bilingualism is an asset
