Design automotive manufacturing processes in Windsor for safety-critical powertrain components, using automation, CAD, and continuous improvement expertise. Support high-volume production while improving quality, efficiency, and safety.

This full-time, permanent Manufacturing Engineer works in a plant environment under the Manufacturing Engineering Manager or Supervisor. You will develop methods, introduce products, select equipment, and stabilize production. The position requires collaboration with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Program Management, suppliers, and product development engineers. Strong manufacturing process knowledge, analytical problem-solving, and communication skills are central to the work.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and improve manufacturing methods, tooling, equipment, and assembly processes
- Design and implement automation improving production efficiency and quality




- Introduce recent products from process design through stable production
- Select equipment and coordinate maintenance to reduce downtime
- Maintain process documentation and train production staff

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or related field
- Seven-plus years of shop floor manufacturing engineering experience
- Automotive industry experience preferred, with strong equipment knowledge
- CAD experience and manufacturing layout design proficiency
- Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, analytical, and communication skills
