Support Mill Operations at Agnico Eagle’s Macassa Mine through accurate sample preparation, quality assurance, and safe work practices on a 7/7 schedule.

Reporting to the Assay Lab Supervisor, the Assay Technician supports Mill Operations goals and objectives. The work includes recording samples, standards, and reference materials, preparing ore samples, and following chain-of-custody procedures. Success requires communication, accuracy, learning capacity, and prioritization.

Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain records of sample receipt and analysis
- Weigh, measure, record, and mix samples
- Organize samples following chain-of-custody procedures
- Crush and pulverize ore samples to minus 10 mesh
- Perform equipment inspections and maintain quality assurance

Requirements:

- Competency in Basic Mill Common Core
- Alignment with the Mill Classification Guideline
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Eye for detail, accuracy, and prioritization
- Two years of experience to be considered competent
