As a Career Counsellor, you will provide career and employment counselling to Albertans returning to employment or school. The work includes developing career plans, facilitating group-learning workshops, and assessing skills, barriers, education, and experience. You will also research the Alberta labour market and coordinate employment supports.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide career and employment counselling to Albertans
- Facilitate essential skills and employment preparation workshops
- Assess transferable skills, barriers, education, and employment history
- Complete resumes,



cover letters, and mock interviews
- Develop and manage individualized service plans

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Social Sciences or related field
- Career counselling and job development or placement experience
- Understanding of Alberta labour market and educational programming
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills
- Security background check required
