Provide respiratory care at Lakeridge Health Oshawa as a Registered Respiratory Therapist with diagnostic testing and interdisciplinary teamwork. This regular part-time role includes days and nights on 12-hour shifts.

Reporting to the Manager, Critical Care and Respiratory Services, the Registered Respiratory Therapist supports the Respiratory Services program. The position requires respiratory care, documentation, diagnostic testing, and equipment maintenance. Quality assurance, continuing education, professionalism, and current practice competence are also essential.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide respiratory care under the manager’s direction
- Document all aspects of patient care
- Perform diagnostic testing within Respiratory Services




- Maintain respiratory equipment and participate in quality assurance
- Continue education and maintain professional competence

Requirements:

- Diploma in Respiratory Therapy
- Current registration with the College of Respiratory Therapy of Ontario
- Current B.C.L.S. meeting Ontario Heart Foundation Standards
- Problem-solving, teaching, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and within an interdisciplinary team
