Support gambling harm prevention at Outstanding Blue Heron Casino through community outreach, education, and empathetic conversations with players. This permanent, part-time role is based onsite.

The Responsible Gambling Council seeks an Education and Prevention Coordinator for its PlaySmart Centre Program. Use community outreach or social services experience to build awareness, answer questions, and connect people with available support. The work includes education, relationship building, data management, and positive play initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

- Increase awareness of the PlaySmart Centre Program
- Engage players and affected individuals in person or by phone
- Answer gambling questions and direct people to available services




- Deliver education supporting informed choices and positive play habits
- Build relationships with casino and charitable gaming staff

Requirements:

- Social work, social services, adult education, health promotion, or related experience
- Strong customer service, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Empathy and understanding in sensitive situations
- Flexibility for weekday, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts
- Valid G Class Driver’s License and frequent local travel ability
