Support seniors at Weston Terrace Community in Toronto as a temporary part time Personal Support Worker, providing compassionate daily assistance.

At Sienna Senior Living, this Personal Support Worker position serves residents within the Long Term Care team. You will build relationships with residents and families while supporting daily health, comfort, dignity, and well being. The schedule is 7am to 3pm in 2B / 3B, with pay of $27.45 to $29.10 under the collective agreement.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support eating, dressing, hygiene, and grooming activities
- Encourage residents to use glasses and hearing aids
- Administer prescribed medication after additional training
- Maintain access to canes, walkers, and call bells
- Provide cognitive, social, emotional, spiritual, oral, and dental support

Requirements:

- Complete an approved Personal Support Worker program
- Provide bedside care and straightforward treatments
- Exercise tact and diplomacy with seniors and visitors
- Pass a Vulnerable Sector Check successfully
- Be legally eligible to work in Canada
