Norfolk County seeks a Recreation Therapist for Norview Lodge. You will assess residents’ therapeutic recreation needs, develop programs, and adapt activities with the health care team. The work includes resident and family contact, volunteer guidance, and resident-centered service.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assess individual needs and plan therapeutic recreation programs
- Implement ordered therapeutic treatments and techniques
- Adapt programs with health care team consultation
- Recruit, train, and guide program volunteers
- Maintain contact with residents and families

Requirements:

- Grade 12 plus relevant recreation post-secondary education
- Over three months’ relevant recreation therapist experience
- Current Food Handlers certificate
- Ontario class F licence or ability to obtain
- Planning, communication, empathy, and leadership skills
