Provide overnight nursing care at Camp Lionheart in Muskoka, administering medications and supporting children with disabilities and complex medical needs. Summer-season work includes on-call hours.

The Overnight Camp Nurse provides comprehensive care for campers and staff in an overnight camp setting. Work primarily takes place in the camp infirmary, with responsibilities spanning health assessments, illness and injury management, and medication administration. The role also involves collaboration with camp leadership, counselors, parents, guardians, and healthcare providers to support a safe, healthy workplace.

Key Responsibilities:

- Administer scheduled and PRN medications under physician orders
- Assess illness, injury, behavioral, and medical concerns




- Maintain medication logs and treatment notes accurately
- Respond to emergencies and coordinate external healthcare
- Provide overnight on-call coverage for health concerns

Requirements:

- Current Ontario RN or RPN CNO registration
- Nursing students completing 50% of accredited programs welcome
- Current CPR and First Aid certification or willingness
- Ability to work independently and make sound clinical judgments
- Comfort with overnight camp environments and shifts
