ChampionX, transitioning to SLB after its acquisition, seeks a Principal Chemist for Production Chemical Technologies. You will test hydrocarbon samples using GC-FID, GC-MS, Pyrolysis GC-MS, and DSC. The work also includes instrumentation troubleshooting, analytical interpretation, and customer-facing technical support.

Key Responsibilities:

- Test hydrocarbon samples using GC-FID, GC-MS, Pyrolysis GC-MS, and DSC
- Develop recent laboratory methods and maintain instrumentation
- Troubleshoot laboratory instruments and testing methodologies
- Provide analytical data and interpretation for technical staff




- Deliver customer-facing technical support and collaborate on projects

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical discipline plus six years’ experience
- Master’s degree plus four years’ relevant industry experience
- Ph.D. plus two years’ relevant industry experience
- In-depth gas chromatography method development and troubleshooting experience
- Project management, organizational, time management, and communication skills
