Support children and youth as a Residential Counsellor in a group home setting, providing care, structure, safety, health, and well-being.

Reporting to the Direct Services Supervisor, this position serves boys and girls experiencing difficulties at home. You will promote each child’s best interest and provide protection within structured living. On-the-job training supports learning new skills, while social services or child welfare experience remains an asset.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide support and care to group home clients
- Promote children’s best interests in daily care
- Provide protection for boys and girls
- Support clients’ safety, health, and well-being

Requirements:

- Interest in working with children and youth
- Basic verbal and written communication skills
- Personal time management abilities
- Willingness to learn new skills through training
