Primary Teacher - SEN Experience

Reeson Education are currently recruiting for an experienced Primary Teacher with SEN experience to join a specialist school in West London.

This is an excellent chance for a qualified Primary Teacher who has experience working with pupils with Special Educational Needs and is looking for a rewarding long-term role within a specialist setting.

The school caters for pupils with a range of additional needs and is looking for a Primary Teacher with SEN experience who can adapt lessons to meet different learning levels and create engaging, accessible learning opportunities.

The Role - Primary Teacher

- Plan and deliver engaging lessons across the primary curriculum
- Adapt lessons and resources to meet individual learning needs
- Teach pupils with a range of SEN and additional needs
- Establish clear classroom routines and expectations
- Monitor pupil progress and adapt teaching accordingly
- Work alongside Teaching Assistants and specialist staff
- Develop positive relationships with pupils
- Contribute to individual education and support plans




- Provide a structured and engaging learning environment

The Ideal Primary Teacher

- QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification
- Primary teaching experience
- Previous experience working with SEN pupils
- Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum
- Experience adapting teaching for pupils with different abilities
- Confident classroom management skills
- A calm, patient and consistent approach
- The ability to build positive relationships with pupils
- A genuine interest in specialist and inclusive education
- Experience working with ASD, MLD, SLD, PMLD, ADHD, SEMH or complex needs would be highly beneficial.
