Lead CN train operations with safety compliance and crew coordination across a territory or terminal, supporting a 24/7 operating function.

This entry-level front-line supervisor manages day-to-day train operations and unionized train crews. The work includes organizing territory operations, ensuring protected departures, and following regulations and CN operating rules. You will coordinate with Rail Traffic Control, Transportation Managers, and Assistant Superintendents to address service exceptions and operational concerns.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage daily train operations within an assigned territory or terminal
- Coach unionized employees on protected, productive work procedures
- Monitor safety compliance, incidents, injuries, and operational risks
- Coordinate train lineups, meets, ETAs,



and crew requirements
- Develop recovery plans for service exceptions with operational partners

Requirements:

- Industrial experience showing responsibility progression in safety-compliant environments
- Experience working with heavy machinery
- Four years supervisory experience with management or unionized employees
- High school diploma and valid driver's licence
- General Microsoft, computer, and safe rail operating knowledge
