Bring maternity nursing expertise to Lake of the Woods District Hospital as a part-time Registered Nurse with day and night shifts. Support parents and newborns.

Working in the Maternity Department, you will provide hands-on care while helping patients enter parenthood. This RN position requires communication, breastfeeding education, and independent practice across labour, delivery, postpartum, and nursery settings. You will build rapport with patients and families while contributing to team-oriented, compassionate care.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide hands-on care in the Maternity Department
- Assist patients entering parenthood and support family milestones
- Build rapport with patients and families
- Teach breastfeeding techniques to patients




- Function independently across maternity care settings

Requirements:

- Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Current BCLS, blood glucose monitoring, and IV Therapy certifications
- Current NRP certification and fetal monitoring course
- Current breastfeeding techniques course and recent maternity experience
- Reliable attendance and independent practice capability
