Lead inclusive after-school programming for children ages 5–12 with YMCA BC, using activity planning, supervision, and individualized support.

As a temporary, part time School Age Leader, you will support before and after school programs at Mount Pleasant YMCA Kids Club or Hastings YMCA Kids Club. Design activities, guide behaviour, contribute to care plans, and help children with diverse needs participate fully. The schedule is Monday to Friday, 2:30pm to 6:00pm.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and lead inclusive indoor and outdoor activities
- Provide active supervision, mentorship, and positive behaviour guidance
- Support individualized care plans and enhanced ratios
- Maintain protected, clean, organized program spaces




- Prepare nutritious snacks following health and safety guidelines

Requirements:

- At least 19 years of age
- Experience working with children ages 5–12
- Emergency First Aid and CPR certification or willingness to obtain
- Twenty hours of relevant child development, guidance, or nutrition training
- Three satisfactory references and Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record Check
