Shape Laura Canada garments through pattern making, fitting, and graded specifications in this Fit Technician / Pattern Maker position. Work directly with live models and suppliers.

This position supports Laura Canada by creating balanced, proportional garments from Designer sketches. You will modify patterns, prepare specification sheets, and communicate fit corrections clearly. The work covers ladies’ apparel from initial fitting through pre-production and bulk production.

Key Responsibilities:

- Create initial patterns from Designer sketches and Laura Canada standards
- Prepare accurate specification sheets for garment development
- Lead sample fittings on live models
- Correct patterns and report improvements to suppliers
- Provide final graded specifications and bulk production comments

Requirements:

- Fashion Design Diploma or equivalent pattern making diploma
- Three to five years’ ladies’ apparel experience
- Solid garment construction, grading, and industry standards knowledge
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- PAD, CLO3D, or PLM system knowledge is an asset
