As a Personal Support Worker, you provide care according to resident care plans and help maintain a safe, secure workplace. You monitor care, observe residents, report findings, document information, and support required education. The work also includes simple treatments, bedside care, sanitation, and understanding geriatric needs.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide resident care according to established care plans
- Observe residents and report findings to the immediate supervisor
- Document resident care information as directed
- Attend education sessions, meetings, and workshops




- Follow IPAC policies and procedures consistently

Requirements:

- Graduate of a Personal Support Worker certificate or diploma program
- Meet Ministry of Training, Colleges, and Universities vocational standards
- Meet National Association of Career Colleges standards
- Meet Ontario Community Support Association standards
- Know bedside care, sanitation, cleaning, and geriatric resident needs
