Reporting to the Early Childhood Educator, this regular Early Learning Assistant supports the Extended Day Program. The position involves childcare for school-age students, child-based play, behaviour guidance, and modelling appropriate techniques. A working knowledge of English is required.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide childcare after school and during school breaks
- Support students during qualified activity days
- Enhance child-based play through creative activities
- Encourage and guide appropriate behaviour techniques
- Perform duties supporting program objectives and goals

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent education and experience
- One year post-secondary childcare experience in group settings
- Valid Standard First Aid and CPR Level C certification
- Required Vulnerable Sector Police Record Check
- Required immunization and chicken pox documentation
