Human Resources Business Partner supporting Vale Base Metals’ Newfoundland and Labrador Operations from St. John’s, with employee relations expertise. Travel to Voisey’s Bay or Long Harbour is required.

This permanent Monday-to-Friday role supports the People & Community Department. You will partner with business leaders, translate business needs into HR strategies, and facilitate organizational change. The position covers attendance management, investigations, labour legislation, and employee relations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee the VBM NL Attendance Management Program
- Advise leaders on attendance, human rights, and disability management
- Serve as the HR contact for a designated client group
- Lead workplace investigations and corrective action plans
- Coach leaders on workforce, talent, and organizational issues

Requirements:

- Post-secondary education in a related field
- Minimum three years’ experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of employment and labour legislation
- Advanced MS Office and HR systems proficiency
- Confidential, organized, and solid communication skills
