Provide acute inpatient nursing care as a Registered Nurse with Fraser Health at Surrey Memorial Hospital in Surrey, British Columbia. Apply assessment and clinical reasoning skills within an Emergency Unit team.

This regular full-time Registered Nurse, Medicine position supports person-centered care in acute inpatient areas. You will assess patients, plan nursing interventions, evaluate outcomes, and collaborate with patients, families, and interprofessional teams. The work follows British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives standards and Fraser Health values.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assess patients using observation, communication, data review, and physical assessment
- Plan, provide, and evaluate nursing interventions and care
- Coordinate care, prioritize tasks, and delegate to support staff




- Collaborate on care and discharge planning with interprofessional teams
- Document assessments, interventions, responses, outcomes, and referrals

Requirements:

- Graduate from an approved School of Nursing
- Hold current Registered Nurse registration with BCCNM
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and care teams
- Promote empathy, cultural sensitivity, and patient advocacy
- Organize work and operate relevant computer applications
