Operate vacuum trucks and transport hazardous or non-hazardous waste as a DZ Operator for GFL at customer sites. Load, unload, and secure cargo while maintaining safe equipment operation.

This DZ Operator transports, removes, delivers, and collects liquid and solid wastes from various customer locations. The work includes vacuum equipment operation in industrial settings, truck loading, trip inspections, and accurate delivery paperwork. You will follow transportation, dangerous goods, occupational safety, hours-of-service, customs, and weights regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate vacuum equipment safely in industrial settings
- Transport, remove, deliver, and collect customer wastes
- Load, unload, secure, and inspect truck cargo
- Complete trip inspections and load documentation
- Report vehicle defects, accidents, violations, and damage

Requirements:

- Valid DZ license
- Strong mechanical aptitude and routine maintenance ability
- Solid organizational, oral, and written communication skills
- Ability to lift 75+ pounds
- Availability for overtime, weekends, and weekly on-call schedules
