Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Technician for a top equipment rental and services client in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. This individual will join a growing team and travel to customer locations to troubleshoot, service, and repair equipment in the field. The ideal candidate has at least three years of hands-on mechanical experience in areas such as automotive, heavy-duty equipment, truck and trailer repair, diesel engines, or mobile equipment.

Day-to-Day:

- Work as a traveling/mobile technician servicing and repairing equipment
- Join a team of 4 technicians
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical/technical issues in the field
- Participate in a paid on-call rotation
- Approximately 1 out of every 3 weekends on call
- Handle occasional after-hours service calls
- Work approximately 45 hours per week with unlimited overtime opportunities
- Utilize a company-provided vehicle, phone, laptop, and select tools
- Participate in company-paid technical training
