Lead clinical research delivery with NHS Fife as a Senior Research Nurse supporting patient recruitment across specialties. Use strong organisation and communication skills.

This Band 6 post sits within the NHS Fife Research and Development Department. You will support commercial and non-commercial, eligibly funded studies while managing research patients and projects. The work includes clinical care, participant education, monitoring, and collaboration with investigators and multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead study management activities across multiple research projects
- Assist with study approvals, setup, and patient recruitment
- Provide clinical care, education, support, and participant monitoring




- Collect confidential data and liaise with trial centres
- Manage a caseload of research patients and studies

Requirements:

- Extensive previous clinical experience as a nurse
- Previous clinical trials work experience for this Band 6 role
- Knowledge of consent, randomisation, confidentiality, and ethical issues
- Understanding of Research Governance Framework and Valuable Clinical Practice
- Ability to travel between all NHS Fife sites
