Licensed Practical Nurses provide direct care for a child with complex medical needs in Parkland CLASS residential homes. Rotation days and nights are available.

Parkland Community Living & Support Society supports children and adults with developmental disabilities across Central Alberta and the Northwest Territories. This position focuses on preventative health care, health monitoring, documentation, Care Plans, and direct support. Nurses also explain treatments to non-medical staff.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide direct care aligned with individual Care Plans
- Practice preventative health care for children
- Teach, monitor, and report general health and wellness
- Maintain health records and consult on Care Plans
- Use PPE during required isolation support

Requirements:

- Completed post-secondary practical nursing program
- Registered to practice in Alberta
- Two years of directly related experience
- Acceptable police and child intervention record checks
- Class 5 license, vehicle, insurance, and registration
