This Electrical Journeyperson role combines field installation with crew management and technical interpretation. You will read drawings, blueprints, schematics, and electrical code specifications. The work includes installing, examining, replacing, repairing, and testing electrical components.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a crew of up to two Apprentices
- Interpret drawings, blueprints, and electrical schematics
- Determine electrical equipment installation layouts
- Install wiring, receptacles, conduits, feeders, and lighting fixtures
- Test components for continuity, current, voltage, and resistance
Requirements:
- Skilled Electrical Journeyperson experience
- Problem-solving skills for complex job-site work
- Ability to interpret electrical code specifications
- Ability to support and manage Apprentices
