Support palliative care patients as a Registered Practical Nurse at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, using assessment skills and person-centred care. Work within Primary Nursing.

This Registered Practical Nurse provides total care for a group of palliative care patients within scope of practice. The position supports Person Centred Care and Sunnybrook’s Mission and Values. You will work closely with members of the interprofessional team while applying palliative pain and symptom management experience.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide total care for assigned palliative care patients
- Practice within the Registered Practical Nurse scope

Requirements:

- Current Ontario College of Nurses registration
- Current B.C.L.S. certification and RPN diploma
- Required hospice palliative care experience
- Excellent assessment, communication, and problem solving skills
- Basic computer and keyboarding skills
