Apply accounts receivable expertise and financial controls knowledge as an Accounts Receivable Technician II serving students, staff, and community members.

At Red Deer Polytechnic, this position supports the Fee’s Office with revenue recognition, payments, refunds, reconciliations, and policy compliance. You will provide expert account guidance while maintaining confidentiality and accurate, timely financial records.

Key Responsibilities:

- Process student and vendor account payment transactions
- Complete reconciliations, investigate errors, and correct procedures
- Generate invoices and record account charges and payments
- Process refunds accurately and timely
- Support month-end, year-end, audit, and reporting processes

Requirements:

- Two-year diploma in business, accounting, finance, or related field
- Two to three years of related experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365
- Knowledge of accounting principles, GAAP, and financial controls
- Solid analytical, communication, and reconciliation skills
