Provide professional nursing care at AgeCare West Williams in Kitchener as a casual Registered Practical Nurse supporting resident wellbeing. Direct Personal Support Workers while coordinating care.

This Registered Practical Nurse position supports residents through required medical care and professional nursing practice. You will collaborate with Registered Nurses, physicians, external health care partners, and other team members. The work includes communicating resident status changes, supporting care needs, and participating in shift reports.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide professional nursing care to residents
- Implement AgeCare policies and procedures with Registered Nurses
- Notify physicians about significant resident status changes
- Direct Personal Support Workers on the care team




- Participate in shift reports and communicate updates

Requirements:

- Current College of Nurses of Ontario Certificate of Competence
- Membership in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Knowledge of geriatric, rehabilitation, or long-term care nursing
- Knowledge of relevant nursing home legislation and standards
- Background including activation, nursing, and personnel administration
