Keep School District No. 60 facilities clean and secure as a casual Custodian handling cleaning and minor maintenance duties. Work occurs as needed.

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor and working with site Administrative Officers, you will operate under the Head Custodian’s oversight. The position supports school facilities through cleaning, equipment care, safety practices, and minor repairs. Evening user groups must be accommodated, and the role may assume Head Custodian duties when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

- Clean and disinfect interiors, fixtures, windows, floors, and landings
- Secure doors and windows throughout assigned areas
- Perform minor maintenance on fixtures and school furniture




- Organize daily priorities and accommodate evening user groups
- Complete seasonal floor and furniture cleaning

Requirements:

- Grade 10 education or equivalency
- Preferred minimum one year commercial or school cleaning experience
- Operate self-propelled auto scrubbers and window cleaning equipment
- Read written instructions and safety bulletins
- Pass the District’s Vulnerable Sector Criminal Records Search
