Ledcor Highways is hiring Heavy Equipment Technicians for its Highway Maintenance team in various Alberta locations. Perform repairs, inspections, and documentation for construction and maintenance equipment supporting roads in your community. The work combines home shop duties with occasional local field operations and possible on-call service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair plows, sanding trucks, and loaders
- Service light support gear and heavy construction equipment
- Perform CVIP inspections on trucks and trailers
- Attend field service calls as required
- Complete maintenance records and documentation
Requirements:
- Journeyperson or registered Apprentice Heavy Equipment Technician
- On-Road and Off-Road technician qualification
- Valid driver’s license and three-year driver’s abstract
- Ability to follow oral, written, and diagrammed instructions
- Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
