Support student health at Columbia Elementary as a full time School Nurse using assessment, first aid, and careful medical documentation. Serve a PK-1 building within classified support services.

This School Nurse position supports students and staff members with health concerns. Preferred qualifications include Indiana RN or LPN licensure, nursing experience, and school health orientation. The work requires current First Aid and CPR certifications, technology competency, communication, mathematics, organization, and time management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assess students and staff members with health concerns
- Provide initial first aid, consultation, or referrals
- Perform vision and preventative head screenings
- Maintain medical records, care plans,



and immunization documentation
- Protect confidential school and health-related information under FERPA

Requirements:

- Current Indiana RN or LPN licensure preferred
- Current First Aid and CPR certifications required
- Nursing experience and school health orientation preferred
- Computer literacy and existing technology competency required
- Strong communication, mathematics, organization, and time-management skills
