Analyze supplier quotations and material costs as an Estimator in Kanata, Ottawa, supporting accurate pricing for competitive bids.

Reporting to the Director, Supply Chain, this Estimator supports DRS Pivotal Power’s Supply Chain team. The work includes vendor communication, cost analysis, bid support, and pricing recommendations. You will coordinate with Business Development and internal stakeholders to align material pricing with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

- Obtain vendor quotations for proposal and ongoing material needs
- Analyze supplier pricing, lead times, terms, and commercial factors
- Evaluate material costs for bids and proposals
- Prepare estimates using drawings, specifications, BOMs, and supplier input




- Maintain pricing records and supporting documentation for audits

Requirements:

- Diploma or degree in supply chain, business, finance, engineering, or related field
- Two to four years in estimating, procurement, pricing, or cost analysis
- Experience obtaining and evaluating vendor quotations
- Robust analytical, communication, and organizational skills
- Microsoft Excel proficiency; ERP or MRP experience is an asset
