Provide personal support through ambulation, feeding, bathing, and grooming as a part time Personal Support Worker. Support patients’ physical, emotional, and social needs.

Extendicare seeks a Personal Support Worker, also identified as PSW, HCA, or CCA, for direct patient care. You will follow policies, procedures, work routines, and nursing care plans while supporting patients’ intellectual and spiritual needs. Experience with dementia, palliative care, and community home care supports this work.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide direct personal support and care to patients
- Assist patients with ambulation, feeding, bathing, and grooming
- Address physical, intellectual, emotional, social, and spiritual needs
- Follow policies, procedures,



and established work routines
- Complete care documentation using care planning systems

Requirements:

- Completed PSW certification meeting appropriate position standards
- Experience in long term care or community home care preferred
- Exposure to dementia and palliative care preferred
- Ability to read and write English and understand instructions
- Reliable vehicle required for community home care
