Design reliable transmission lines with ENMAX using PLS CADD, structural analysis, and hybrid work from Calgary, Alberta.

As a Transmission Engineer, you will support projects from planning and routing through construction, commissioning, and closeout. You will apply transmission line design expertise across structural, foundation, overhead system, and technical deliverables. The work includes coordination with consultants, EPC teams, stakeholders, contractors, and internal experts.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan and produce structural, foundation, and overhead line designs
- Analyze structures, conductors, insulators, loading, and foundations
- Coordinate design reviews, construction support, and technical closeout
- Review consultant deliverables against standards, codes,



and regulations
- Develop engineering documents, schedules, estimates, and inspection plans

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering; structural preferred
- P.Eng status with APEGA
- Five-plus years of progressive transmission line design experience
- Solid proficiency with PLS CADD, Pole, Tower, and Caisson
- Valid driver’s license and strong communication skills
