Bring mental health nursing expertise to Interior Health’s MHSU Emergency Room team at Vernon Jubilee Hospital in Vernon, BC. Rotating day and night shifts support emergency care.

This permanent full-time Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse position serves the Hospitals & Communities Integrated Services multidisciplinary care team. You will support people experiencing responsible mental health problems, problematic substance use, or developmental disability issues. The work includes evidence-based treatment, clinical supports, and urgent responses when required.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assess clients across physical, personal, family, and social domains
- Provide treatment, case management, and community support
- Use specialized therapies with individuals,



groups, and families
- Consult with Emergency Department and inpatient mental health services
- Deliver timely responses to clients who may be in crisis

Requirements:

- Graduation from an approved school of nursing
- Two years’ recent mental health and addictions experience
- Current practicing registration with BCCNM
- Equivalent education, training, and experience may be considered
