A Little About The Role
We’re looking for a Finance Manager who loves when things balance, deadlines are met, and everyone has the information they need.
You’ll be at the heart of our day-to-day finance operations in Toronto, owning client billing, accounts receivable and accounts payable, reconciliations, cash flow reporting, and month-end activities. You’ll work closely with our Client Partnership, Operations, and Project Management teams to make sure projects and billing stay accurate and on track.
This is a hands-on role. You’ll definitely spend time in spreadsheets and accounting systems, but you’ll also spend a lot of time working with people across the business to solve problems, update procedures, answer questions, and keep things moving.
What does success look like? Client invoices go out accurately and on time, reconciliations tie out, month-end deadlines are met, reporting is reliable, cash comes in and there are very few finance-related surprises.
You’ll report to the Head of Finance making this a great role for someone who likes owning their work while also helping others succeed.
This Role Reports to: Head of Finance
Compensation Range: 80,000–90,000 CAD

- Own monthly client billing, revenue recognition and accounts receivables.
- Reconcile and track prebills and accrued revenue
- Partner with the Client Partnership team to make sure billing is accurate and moves quickly through approval processes.
- Follow up directly with client finance/AP teams when needed.
- Monitor revenue forecast and reconcile forecasts to actual client billing.
- Keep client finance information such as billing details, POs and contact information accurate and up to date.
- Investigate billing discrepancies and help get them sorted out.
Month-end, accounting & cash flow
- Manage accounts payable and make sure vendors are paid accurately and on time.
- Complete monthly accounting responsibilities and help keep our close on schedule.
- Prepare and distribute weekly cash flow reporting,
including a rolling view of expected cash coming in and going out.
- Review bank and credit card activity, monitor balances, and reconcile the bank weekly
- Prepare and submit HST filings and corporate tax instalments, including arranging HST payments.
- File the Employer Health Tax (EHT) return.
- Review payroll reports and perks invoices to post necessary journal entries.
- Review employee expenses, receipts and approvals, code expenses appropriately, and arrange reimbursements.
- Maintain organized financial records and documentation.
Projects & Process
- Help make sure the financial side of our projects reflects what is actually happening in the business.
- Provide internal finance process onboarding and training for new employees involved in billing.
- Look at process improvement and change as a rewarding challenge and are willing to work with others to smooth out friction points along the way.
People, year-end & everything in between
- Support the Billing Coordinator as needed, including reviewing sales orders, and providing support when processes change and new initiatives are rolling out.
- Help with year-end close by preparing schedules, documentation, and supporting information for internal and external requests.
- Assist with year-end audit requests.
- Jump in on ad hoc financial requests and projects as they come up.
What You’ll Bring
We’re less interested in someone who checks every single box and more interested in someone who knows their stuff, takes ownership, and genuinely enjoys making finance processes work well for everyone it touches.
Ideally, You’ll Have
