What You’ll Need

Completion of 4th Class Power Engineering certificate from an accredited Canadian Institution





Registered as a 4th Class Power Engineer with ABSA

Minimum of 5 years of commercial and/or industrial Building Operator experience

Experience isolating/de-isolating mechanical piping components for heating, cooling and utility systems

Experience operating building systems, including heating plants

Valid driver’s license

Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Ability to read and understand building floor plans and design drawings

Strong understanding of OHS regulations and procedures

Ability to organize, prioritize, and complete multiple tasks with minimal direction

Self-starter, able to work with minimal supervision

Completion of OSSA Basic Safety Orientation or Common Safety Orientation required
