Manage commercial property claims for Trisura from its Downtown Toronto hybrid office, applying coverage analysis and negotiation expertise. Support first and third party claims. As a Claims Examiner reporting to the Vice President, Claims Specialty Insurance, you will investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and resolve commercial property and casualty claims. The position requires property policy interpretation, analytical judgment, accurate documentation, and collaboration with brokers, contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders. Trisura’s specialty insurance setting includes responsibility for claims from first notice of loss through resolution. Key Responsibilities:





Manage commercial property and casualty claims portfolios Conduct coverage analysis and determine policy response Investigate losses and coordinate required claim resources Evaluate damages and negotiate authorized settlements Identify recovery opportunities, subrogation, and salvage Requirements:

Three to seven years of property claims adjusting experience Commercial property claims experience preferred Completed or in-progress CIP designation Robust analytical, negotiation, and decision-making skills Microsoft Office and claims management systems proficiency Apply property claims expertise, policy interpretation, and negotiation skills while supporting Trisura’s commercial insurance claims in Toronto.
